LAMINATION OPERATOR

Role Profile:

The operator reports directly to the supervisor/chief operator. The operator ensures that the output is of good quality with minimal waste. The operator coordinates it with the chief operator any anomalies encountered in the production process. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • • Ensure that the lamination has a copy of J.O. before running
    • Identifies and ensures that proper materials are used in production
    • To efficiently and effectively set-up and operate lamination machine
    • Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure correct coating weight and bond strength are applied.
    • Troubleshoots machine problem (minor and major).
    • Performs simple test to the product during operation.
    • Ensures that parameter settings are correct.
    • Responsible in making daily production report.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time.
    • Maintain, implement, sustenance of FSSC standard current version.

Skills and Competencies:

    • • With good communication skills.

    • • College level or graduate of any 2-year technical course

    • • Flexible and hardworking

    • • With at least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in packaging firm.
